Andrew Lazarow is an award-winning interactive designer currently leading the LAB at Rockwell Group.
Andrew’s approach to crafting visual narratives was developed while designing performances on and off Broadway to remind others: you are not alone.
Over time that evolved into creating spaces that help people feel seen for all of who they are. That what is possible, remains to be seen.
Those insights formed the foundation of his work across high-end restaurants, corporate lobbies, branded experiences, immersive environments, and exhibitions.
Grounded in defining the emotional core of each project, Andrew’s process brings diverse stakeholders into alignment to deliver experiences that resonate both visually and strategically.
Recent and current projects include: COTE Las Vegas; the Bristol Myers Squibb laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts; Illuminarium Experiences; the FUTURES exhibition within the Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building; the Harvey Fierstein Theatre Lab at the New York Public Library; the Museum of Broadway; amenity spaces for 550 Madison; and a new, immersive MICE approach in Macau.
Before joining Rockwell Group he was a Senior Designer at NBBJ's experience design studio, ESI Design where his favorite projects included: WarnerMedia's new HQ in Hudson Yards, MLB's new HQ in midtown Manhattan, and the digital facade of the Barclays building in Times Square.
Andrew's most recent theatrical work includes: MY VERY OWN BRITISH INVASION, and an international tour of KINKY BOOTS both directed by Jerry Mitchell. Other recent credits include: Broadway: HEAD OVER HEELS, and THE TERMS OF MY SURRENDER directed by Michael Mayer. Off Broadway credits include: BROOKLYNITE, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (Hewes Theater Design nom.), HOUSE FOR SALE, and PRIVACY (interactive technology consultant).
